Position Overview:

Bulletproof is hiring a WordPress Developer for a contract position. This role will primarily focus on admin activities necessary to expand the scope of our content creation and be more agile in the deployment of new content and execution of content strategy. A strong background in WordPress, PHP, and SQL is a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing development and maintenance of existing front end content, working primarily in PHP/SQL/HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Support content and dev teams with various admin tasks and operations critical to front end content initiatives.
  • Be a self-starter who is able to take accountability and initiative to solve problems on a daily basis.
  • Prototyping and integration support for UI/UX design and 3rd party integrations.
  • Monitor the website and audit via existing tools for any impacts such as ADA, Quality Assurance, SEO Health, Readability, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Deep Experience in Wordpress and PHP/SQL.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile workflow and development methodologies. Experience with JIRA a plus.
  • The ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks over multiple projects in order to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • 5+ yrs experience as a Wordpress developer. Experience working with version control/GIT a plus.
  • Experience with Shopify and familiarity with Liquid a plus.

This is a full-time contract position that is open to local Seattle-area candidates, as well as remote candidates in any location throughout the U.S.; regardless, the position will start in a remote capacity.
