Freelance PHP/WordPress Developer

The Motley Fool is looking for a highly skilled, freelance PHP developer to join our team!

This developer will be augmenting our existing development team and picking up various development tasks on an as-needed basis. We are estimating 30-40 hours per week for this role.

• You are a highly skilled, detail-oriented PHP Developer well-versed in modern best practices such as TDD.
• You have deep experience writing code for WordPress as a CMS
• You have knowledge of core actions & filters, the WordPress REST API, and how to create plugins using OOP.
• You have experience working with SaaS/RESTful API's.
• You are comfortable blurring the line between traditional back-end and front-end development, often integrating PHP with client-side frameworks and Ajax.
• You are able to communicate clearly with your peers.
• You consistently deliver quality work, on time.
• You have experience working on projects with multiple developers and stakeholders.
