WordPress Developer

We are on the hunt for a talented WordPress Developer in the Boise area to join our growing team. This is a mid-level position, reporting to our Sr. Web Developer and Account Director, whose key responsibilities will be to assist our current development team with new website projects and provide our existing website customers with technical support and/or updates. Our offices are located in SE Boise and you will be required to collaborate on-site with adherence to our hybrid work model which includes Wednesday through Thursday on-site and Monday and Friday remote. This is an extremely collaborative industry and an extremely collaborative position. We've struck a good balance between on-site and remote which allows us to collaborate and deliver results for our clients, craft our team culture, and maintain flexibility.

Here's what our ideal candidate looks like:

• Experience and knowledge with building responsive web pages from Photoshop, XD, and Figma designs using WordPress builder tools (specifically Elementor). Should be comfortable adding motion effects such as parallax and hover animations that best match the given design with little guidance. Ideally, you will be able to give suggestions on the design if there are elements that will be impractical to build or will hurt page loading speed and offer alternative solutions.
• Practical fluency with basic coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Experience editing existing designs built with Beaver Builder and Elementor including pages that utilize custom code to modify page elements. Experience working with WordPress plugins such as Woocommerce, JetEngine, Memberpress, etc.
• Experience with WordPress support needs including updating plugins, troubleshooting errors, etc.
• A good eye for design would be ideal. There may be times you are requested to build a landing page, form, or element from scratch with minor design direction.
• Some knowledge about the development tasks needed for SEO such as adding code snippets to integrate Facebook Pixels, ooptimizing page speed on desktop and mobile, adding markups, etc.
• Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills are a must!

• At this time we are only accepting resumes from individuals living in, or planning to relocate to the Boise area so you can work collaboratively with our local team. While we have clients all over the US, we also have many clients right here in the Boise area so we'd like you here for them as well.

Compensation:

• Starting compensation package: $42,000 - $48,000 DOE
