Founded in 2019, the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) is a 501c3 non-profit, and the first professional organization for digital medicine. Our mission is to advance the safe, effective, equitable, and ethical use of digital medicine to optimize human health. We do this by convening multi-sector, multi-disciplinary collaborations with leading organizations. We offer a fast-paced, fully remote workplace, and the chance to lead high-impact projects with industry-renowned experts across the world.

About the role
In 2021 alone, DiMe launched seven projects, and we have already had three successful launches this year, with more on deck. As we continue to grow, DiMe is seeking a WordPress Developer to design and develop functional and attractive pages for our growing number of projects. This is an early to mid-career role, with room for growth. You should have an in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, strong content management skills, and an eye for aesthetics.

In this position, you will

• Meet with project teams to discuss webpage function and design
• Design and build website architecture, including new features and functionality
  Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot errors
• Monitor performance of live pages

You will do well in this position if you have:

Subject matter expertise: Working knowledge of WordPress plugins (Learndash, miniOrange, Memberpress, WPScan), front-end languages–HTML/CSS, analytic tools (Google Analytics)
Project management skills: DiMe is a fast-moving environment, and at any given time, we are launching several projects, requiring new pages/features. We are looking for someone agile and flexible.
Content creation: We are looking for a solution-oriented individual who can create customizations, within themes and plugins, as well as produce high quality pages for new projects.
Communication skills: Listening, writing and speaking for diverse stakeholders including with project leads and senior management

• 2-10+ years of experience developing complex web platforms. We are looking for talented or promising developers.
