Job Responsibilities

• Advance our process of developing WordPress sites that will lead to — higher quality, more efficient development, and a richer backend experience clients editing content
• Keep current in the WordPress ecosystem to advise the company of how we can continually improve how we develop WordPress sites
• Personal development including: attending conferences related to WordPress; continually read blogs, community board, etc related to WordPress
• Continually improve your front-end skill & understanding by studying new frameworks, techniques, and interaction effects Execution
• Work directly with various stakeholders to develop and support WordPress site
• Deploy latest changes to different environments
• Work on internal tools to improve the development process
• Maintain the various hosting platforms
• Implement high fidelity designs with exacting standard
• Create front-end experiences that feel like magic, through animation & user interaction

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience in the WordPress ecosystem
• Expert-level knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to implement complex and subtle front-end animations using CSS or JS
• HTML Canvas, and WebGL experience is a plus
• ReactJs experience
• WooCommerce experience
• Shopify experience is a bonus
• Strapi experience is a bonus
• Resilience, optimism, and proven success in figuring out complex problems
