Web Developer (WordPress)

Who are we?

Recently named one of the Third Sector's ‘Best Charities to Work For’, we are committed to moving further, faster to accelerate change for everyone affected by a brain tumour. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. We know that a cure can’t wait. By recruiting a team that ‘can’, we can and will find one sooner.

Our exciting job role!

We use our online portfolio of websites to serve our community, giving them access to exactly what they need, when they need it.

To ensure that we are able to respond to online requirements even faster we need you - an experienced WordPress Developer - to become a fundamental part of this small team, working your magic on our websites.

This is a great opportunity for a UK-based developer looking for autonomy to focus on optimising a small portfolio of sites, with the support and guidance of a highly experienced Website Manager as required. It is perfect for someone interested in working at the forefront of the latest technologies and trends, keen to learn and implement quality solutions.

This role is full time - 37.5 hours, with some out of hours working. While contracted to our office in Fleet, Hampshire, our team supports a blend of office and home working provided you have adequate broadband and IT capability, with an average of 2-3 days in the office each week.

What we'd like from you:

It’s simple – we’re looking for the people who ‘can’. As an inclusive workplace we welcome the introverts and the extroverts and anyone in between. All we ask is that you completely embrace our values, offer a great cultural fit and are determined to make real and lasting change for our community.

According to the job description, which you can download below, you'll have a positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail to ensure website updates are implemented quickly and efficiently.

If this is for you, we’d love to hear from you!
