L2 WordPress Developer

Experience:

We’re looking for WordPress developers with a deep understanding of the platform. And no, you don’t necessarily need to be a senior developer.

Basically, we’re looking for a versatile engineer with experience in:

• PHP
• WordPress (of course!)
• CSS/JS/HTML
• Page Builders (WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, Elementor, Avada)
• Troubleshooting & log analysis (!important)
• Advanced WordPress theme & plugin editing
• WordPress actions & filters
• Advanced jQuery
• Fluent in written English

It’s a plus if you also have:

• a good understanding of Web services, REST and RPC APIs
• proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git
• built plugins & themes in the past

The role:

• Troubleshoot fatal errors through analyzing error logs;
• Build simple pages with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, WP Bakery, Avada, etc;
• Speed optimizations;
• Malware removals;
• Audit existing projects and look for any issues that should be addressed;
• Work with the support lead to improve documentation & general processes;
• Run Unix commands for migrations / troubleshooting;
• Perform weekly plugin / theme / WP core updates and run visual tests;
• Create / maintain plugins & themes;
