Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing implementing, and maintaining new features and functionality on WordPress- designed websites.
• Establishing and guiding the website architecture to ensure that the designed website meets the client's needs, industry standards, and client budget.
• Managing all the technical aspects of CMS(content management system) to ensure the system is high-performance, readily available, and with minimum technical challenges.
• Meeting clients and discussing client challenges to identify the best theme, plugins, and other website aspects to meet client challenges.
• Designing the website back-end to ensure the backup and server integration are well managed.
• Collaborating with the creative team to formulate an effective and responsive.
• Idea and turning the ideas into website theme, plugin or other website aspects
• Building website front-end and conducting website performance tests to ensure the website performance is optimized.
• Manage and monitor the performance of a live website.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3 JavaScript, HTML5 and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects.
