Responsibilities For WordPress Developer


  • Developing custom websites and mobile applications for a growing digital marketing company
  • Responsible for both back-end and front-end development of WordPress sites with minimal oversight
  • Requirement gathering from clients
  • Install, test and debug WordPress plugins and develop new plugins as needed
  • Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously for a variety of clients
  • Work with internal teams and external vendor in leading technical coding using PHP
  • Quoting hours needed to complete projects based on client requirements
  • Create web components such as forms, call-to-action buttons and navigation menus that foster user engagement and conversion optimization


Qualifications For WordPress Developer


  • Ensure robustness, flexibility and documentation of in-house APIs and API hook-ups
  • Must possess the ability to code in PHP which is used in backend development
  • Experience in PWAs is required
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Must be self-motivated and self-managing
  • Familiar with Google App Suite
  • Strong professional client communication skills
  • Nondependent on WordPress templates (all work is custom coded in PHP)
  • Ability to accurately forecast number of hours needed to complete project based on client requirements
