Wordpress Theme/Plugin Developer

We are seeking a dedicated web developer to join our growing company. Responsibilities include ensuring all relevant website functionality works as expected and that the website displays well on a range of screen resolutions, from mobile to desktop.

As a web developer, you will work as part of a team to implement new features, as well as make modifications and fix bugs in existing code. Your duties will include designing and developing layouts, writing code to power the underlying functionality of the website, and developing tests for the code you write.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities a web developer is expected to assume in their position:

• Leading the development of WordPress and WooCommerce projects;
• Building WP plugins (API Integration, integrations of plugins, theme management) and themes;
• Scoping and estimating work with project managers;
• Problem-solving and testing proposed solutions with MVPs and prototypes;
• Reporting on project development activity in team stand-ups and client

meetings;

• Collaborating with design and development departments to create effective

workflows on projects;

• Reviewing code and quality checking solutions;
• Contributing to our internal products, and open source projects.
• Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
