Wordpress Web Developer

Techunite are recruiting for a Web Developer to join an expanding company on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to extend further. A fully remote job role based in the UK.

The Web Developer will be joining the global marketing team and be responsible for the management, maintenance and up-keep of company websites, the development of the main website and creation of new web pages and enhancements to existing designs.

Key Skills Required

• 1-3 years’ experience of web development
• Experience of WordPress and Divi builder
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud
• HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript experience
• Basic knowledge of SEO
• Google Analytics and Tag Manager experience

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Create webpages by using WordPress with Divi builder
• Write well designed, testable, efficient HTML, CSS and PHP code by using best software development practices
• Optimise existing and new websites for relevant keywords to enhance search rankings and increase traffic.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
• Cooperate with Brand Manager to ensure sites remain on brand
• Work with broader marketing team to ensure messaging and copy is in correct voice and style
