Remote PHP / Wordpress Developer (eCommerce) Jobs

A fast-emerging e-commerce platform enabling people to sell both locally and globally is looking for a PHP/WordPress Developer. The developer will be responsible for managing various services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. The company is focused on empowering small business owners to grow their brand, customers, and revenue. The selected candidate will have a great chance to join the team composed of executives formerly at start-ups, small business owners, e-commerce experts, and brand innovators while contributing to scaling online convenience and shopping to local communities. The role requires a time overlap with CDT.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build the application architecture
• Develop and manage the database and server integration
• Develop quality WordPress websites along with generating WordPress themes and plugins
• Analyze and maintain existing requirements and implement them into web applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Conducting performance tests, troubleshooting issues, and monitor the performance of the application

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Must be experienced with PHP and WordPress
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Familiarity with building user interfaces for websites and web applications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
