Wordpress Developer

This is a remote job that requires strong communication skills working with people across the world. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• At least 3 years of experience using WordPress
• Ability to build and/or work within custom themes
• Experience with website launch process and long-term maintenance
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Detail-Oriented
• Ability to Troubleshoot

Proficiency in

• G Suite Products (Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, etc.)
• Business Communications (Video Calls, Emails, Phone Calls, etc.)
• Slack
• Project Management Software Interfaces (Asana)
• Time Tracking
• Organization

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and launch websites
• Work to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
• Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
• Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
• Making edits based on client requests

Not required, but other beneficial skillsets:

• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• HubSpot
• Experience managing DNS records
