Wordpress Designer

Are you a highly-motivated and self driven Web Developer, to become the overlord of our customers WordPress websites. Must be passionate about debugging, troubleshooting, working fast, and working with no instruction or guidance. Ideal applicant loves to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions to issues. Being full stack, besides doing all the setup and systems, ideal applicant has a great eye for design and knows how to build a beautiful and functional WordPress websites, from scratch, or from piecing together and customizing the best themes and plugins.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining & supporting a large WordPress multisite/network install and individual sites
• Designing and slicing new custom WordPress sites
• Building sites from templates with heavy customization and refinement
• Troubleshooting WordPress sites, plugins, themes, server, and DNS issues
• Optimizing sites and server to preform at benchmark speeds
• Working with APIs as needed - Ecwid, woocommerce, Facebook, Square, PayPal and Shopify
• Must be able to perform backups, review updates to theme, plugins. Debug or upgrade as needed

Skills & Experience Required

• Custom WordPress websites design
• PHP7+ / MySQL
• HTML, CSS/SASS/LESSCSS
• JavaScript/jQuery
• Responsive design

A Bonus skillset worth mentioning:

• Great eye for detail - we work with some high profile clients
• Elementor, DIVI builder, Gravity Forms, and or ACF experience
• Understanding of good SEO practices
• NPM/Gulp/Webpack/Composer
• Takes PageSpeed as a personal challenge
• Understanding of UI & UX
• Writing Documentation
