Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop web sites, web apps, e-commerce Portals based on WordPress/ CMS.

2. Use themes & readymade plugins to build websites in the CMS.

3. Develop or customize plugins/ themes if required.

4. Work on Front-end (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and backend code (PHP)

5. Proficient in front-end & backend programming skills HTML/CSS, AJAX XML, JavaScript, PHP-

6. Strong debugging skills with ability to read and modify existing code Knowledge of responsive designs Knowledge of performance optimization & basic understanding of designing search engine friendly websites. Keen eye for design and aesthetics. Solution Oriented & Logical analytics skills.

7. Research about the competition and keep a track of best practices with respect to the technology, calculators being used and suggest them for our website

8. Create multiple landing pages for A/B testing and lead capture

9. Adapt to the latest mobile technology so as make the website mobile 1st

10. User Testing across all devices and do a quality check as per the brand guidelines

11. Establishing and updating the Website Architecture, Sitemaps etc.

12. Decent English communication skills (Should be able to convert requirements to working solutions. Interacting on skype/ email with national & international clients)
