Job Description:

WordPress developers design and implement websites for companies using the

WordPress creation tool. They are responsible for both front-end and back-end

development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Their goal is to

create attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications.

Responsibilities:

● Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.

● Designing and building the website front-end.

● Creating the website architecture.

● Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server

integration.

● Design and implement new features and functionality.

● Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

● Conducting website performance tests.

● Troubleshooting content issues.

● Conducting WordPress training with the client.

● Monitoring the performance of the live website.

Desired Skills:

● Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.

● Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and

jQuery.

● Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

● Ability to manage projects.

● Good communication skills.

● Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML). A

strong understanding of code versioning tools, including Git, SVN, and

Mercurial. Strong knowledge of PHP back-end development is required.

● Able to build custom WordPress Plugins

● Able to build custom WordPress Themes

● Hands-on experience with Element or Builder / WP Baker Builder
