WordPress Web Developer

TELECOMMUTERS Need Not Apply. This position is onsite only. We are looking for an experienced web developer with knowledge and understanding of WordPress development from beginning to end. This position requires a combination of programming and troubleshooting. This is an 80/20 role. 80% technical and 20% design. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree 2-5 years of professional web development 2+ years of WordPress Experience with back-end and front-end development tools Experience with using structured databases Demonstrated expertise developing web-based applications Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and open-source web application frameworks Understanding of principles of responsive web design, user experience, and accessibility Nominal server administration knowledge on Linux and Windows OS and ability to perform routine server maintenance tasks Google Tag Manager and Schema markup experience Strong experience programming, debugging and analytical skills Experience with WordPress as a Developer Knowledge of User Experience Basics Strong Experiences with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred.
