The business we are representing specialises in providing branding and web development services to their large UK client base and their mission/aim is to continue growing as a company as their client base grows. They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

Role and responsibilities:

• You will have a strong understanding of WordPress and its ecosystem, as well as a proven track record of working with design teams to create top-quality websites for clients.
• You'll need to share our enthusiasm for growing the business and support this growth by taking initiative and working autonomously.
• We're a client-facing company that prides itself on open and professional communication, we're looking forward to adding someone with strong interpersonal skills to our team.
• Full WordPress website build, website support and maintenance, website updates, feature requests and upgrades and other PHP and JS development (including some non-WordPress websites).
• Delivering high-quality work on time and to budget
• Liaising with clients and ensuring their satisfaction
• Troubleshooting issues when they occur

Required skills and experience:

• A solid understanding of modern HTML & SCSS (Ideally utilising webpack)
• A strong understanding of WordPress & PHP
• Good working knowledge of Javascript
• Experience with the Javascript framework REACT
• Comfortable working with AJAX
• Git Versioning Control

Desired skills and experience:

• Cloudflare/CDNs
• WebGL and three.js
• Experience implementing APIs (e.g. Google Maps/YouTube/Vimeo)
• Server management (Plesk cPanel)
• Basic understanding and application of SEO
