About the Role:

ITILITE is growing rapidly and raised Series C funding in April ‘22 with Tiger Global as the lead investor during this round. We are looking for an HTML/Web developer well-versed in development on the Wordpress CMS and work on any additional marketing campaigns that require development work will be a bonus. This will be a cross-functional role where the candidate will be collaborating tremendously with members of the Marketing team, the Engineering team, Design team and technical SEO/web development vendors. The candidate is expected to have an in-depth understanding of CMS concepts, features, and benefits and should be hands-on in any front-end and (or) backend technologies like HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, ES6, PHP and leveraging the CMS custom capabilities in WordPress.

Responsibilities:

• Develop testable and efficient custom components for enterprise-scale applications in Wordpress Platform.
• Develop custom HTML templates for email campaigns to be run in India and US geographies
• Own the front-end development and management of the ITILITE website
• Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
• Responsible for meeting expectations and meeting deliverables on time and in high quality.
• Demonstrate creative, technical, and analytical skills
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in a technical and business environment.
• Operate effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancement and fixes
• Own the performance improvement aspect of each web page and drive visible improvements in page loading speeds

Skills Description:

• Hands-on in the Wordpress CMS platforms with an in-depth understanding of the platform
• Good knowledge of theme, plug-ins customization, widgets and custom component development
• Candidates having a strong PHP skillset (or have experience in PHP in CMS platforms - like Drupal, WordPress)
• Good knowledge of Agile Methodology and iterative development
• Desire to continually learn and explore new tools, concepts and ideas and then share them with the rest of the team
• Understanding of the DNS system to quickly make changes to CNAME, A Record, MX Records etc
• Understanding of the Mail delivery system and ability to debug, configure DKIM, DMARC and SPF
• Experience of technical SEO concepts, like page speeds, No follow, meta tags etc
• Hands on experience with custom plugins and extensions for custom functionality
• Candidates having a strong front-end skills like HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery or have extensively
• Good Communication (both verbal and written).
• Agency experience is a bonus
