KiwiTech - PHP/Wordpress Developer - Javascript/MySQL

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of WordPress websites for our clients. They should have a strong understanding of WordPress core and be able to develop custom plugins and themes from scratch. The candidate should be able to work with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch
• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional websites
• Modify and customize existing WordPress themes and plugins
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing websites
• Develop responsive websites that work seamlessly on all devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WordPress websites
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development
• Maintain WordPress websites and ensure they are up-to-date and secure
• Ensure all code is well-documented and maintainable

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong understanding of WordPress core, including custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks
• Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or Materialize
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them
• Experience working with MySQL databases and integrating third-party APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer
