Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring a high level of quality, performance, and security.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing, responsive, and mobile-first designs.
  3. Integrate with external APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality and user experience.
  4. Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  5. Optimize website performance through caching, code minification, and image optimization techniques.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, working closely with other team members to ensure timely resolution.
  7. Adhere to WordPress coding standards and best practices while staying updated with the latest industry trends.
  8. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal website performance and stability.
  9. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members, as needed.
  10. Participate in project planning and contribute to estimating timelines and resource requirements.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience developing custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  3. In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  4. Strong understanding of the WordPress core, architecture, and best practices.
  5. Experience with popular page builders, such as Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
  6. Familiarity with the WordPress REST API and integration with third-party services.
  7. Proficient with version control systems, such as Git.
  8. Experience with website performance optimization, including caching, code minification, and image optimization.
  9. Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
  10. Strong understanding of website security principles and best practices.
  11. Experience with web hosting environments and server management.
  12. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  13. A strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress projects.
