Wordpress Developer

My client is seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join their team and take on the responsibility of rebuilding an existing CMS platform and building new web features using PHP. The company is a 50 person IT consulting firm located in Rhode Island. They specialize in developing and implementing digital transformation and modernization strategies for companies large and small. As a WordPress Developer on the team you will work with the design team to create responsive, visually appealing websites, and optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coding and possess the technical skills necessary to build robust web applications. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with web development frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symphony. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
