Job Summary

. Including creating Word Press themes and plugins.

. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap, Word Press plugins and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.

. Experience with a responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.

. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Designing and implementing new features and functionality

· Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture

· Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS

· Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin

• Designing themes and interfaces.

• Setting performance tasks and goals.

• Troubleshooting integration issues.

• Updating website features and security patches.

• Meeting with the design and Marketing team to discuss the needs of our company.

• Code and deploy solutions suitable to a cross-platform, cross-browser environment

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

• Gather, create and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

• Assist in optimizing our site for loading speed, usability, and uptime

• Create and maintain software documentation

• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the platform

• Stay on top of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities

• Cooperate with UX/UI designer

• Create unit tests to ensure that code meets its design requirements and behaves as intended

• Write thorough, comprehensive technical, and high-level documentation

• Implementing WordPress themes and plugins.

• You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins, as well as site integration and security updates.

Job Requirements

· At least 2 - 5 years' experience working as a WordPress developer

· Understanding of Divi, Elementor builder, oxygen, and another WordPress builder.

· Ability to do edit/customization on any WordPress Websites.

· Has a proven online portfolio – 10 live websites at least

· Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, WordPress plugins., bootstrap

· Experience building user interfaces for websites

· Experience designing and developing responsive design website

· Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

· Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

· Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

· Good understanding of PHP back-end development

· Strong experience using code repository like Git
