Wordpress Developer

Qualification : Any Degree

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Discuss website design and functionalities with client

· Designing and building the website front-end

· Creating the website architecture

· Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration

· Building and implementing new WordPress themes and plugins

· Conducting website performance tests

· Analyzing website performance and troubleshooting errors

· Maintain well-documented and reusable code

· Monitoring the performance of the live website

Requirement:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field

· WordPress development experience

· PHP 2 with WordPress framework, MySQL, AWS, GIT, JIRA, Angular

· Proven work experience as a WordPress developer

· Knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP programming in WordPress

· Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery

· Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git and SVN

· Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills

· Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug

· Should have good experience with at least one relational database like PostgreSQL, MySQL OR MariaDB

· Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics

· Ability to work independently

· Good communication skills

· Knowledge of other PHP CMS like Magento, Joomla and Cake PHP will be added advantage Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.
