PHP/Wordpress/Woo Commerce Developer, remote

Our client is looking for a PHP/WordPress/Woo Commerce Developer to join their team on a 6 month contract. For this role you must have 3 years of WordPress PHP Programming experience, Object Oriented Principles and applying SOLID principles to designing easily maintainable Web applications, MySQL/MS SQL as well as Woo Commerce Subscription experience.

This role is remote opportunity for an excellent organization. It will be a 6 month contract - with possible extension, will also look at candidates interested in flipping to permanent at a later date as well.


Responsibilities


Some responsibilities may include:

  • Help develop web based solutions integrate well with PHP/WordPress/Woo Commerce technology stack
  • Manage the scope and technical delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate development efforts with the team.
  • Provide hands-on solution consultancy in software system design and development of best practices and refactoring.
  • Apply technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business value and minimize risk.
  • Develop shared reusable components to increase reusability and solution robustness.
  • Be responsible for the quality of deliverables.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions and make recommendations.

Qualifications


3 years' experience and proficiency with the following:


WordPress PHP programming


Object Oriented Principles - applying SOLID principles to designing easily maintainable Web applications,


Woo Commerce subscriptions experience


Experience Integrating WordPress with any CRMs


MySQL / MS SQL


Experience working with RestAPI's - authenticating calling Rest API from PHP.


Great communication


Experience with Divi Themes


Experience with Plugin Installation/Configuration


Woo Commerce Lifecycle Development


Building and Overriding of Custom WordPress Plugin


Integrating SDK’s on Server Side technologies such as PHP


ECommerce Integrations


Bachelor of Science/Engineering (Information Technology) or equivalent.


NICE TO HAVE: Building salesforce lightning web components or Salesforce APEX classes
