Digital Marketing and WordPress Developer

Looking for a top-tier Digital Marketing and WordPress Developer to join our team! We seek an individual who is a master in their field with a passion for creating innovative and dynamic digital experiences. As the ideal candidate, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields or equivalent experience with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of WordPress development experience.

The candidate should have expertise in developing custom WordPress plugins and themes, working with a variety of WordPress plugins, and have a deep understanding of PHP development and PHP frameworks. In addition, we require the candidate to have a working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and integrate digital marketing

campaigns into the WordPress platform.

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes.

• Deploy and manage WordPress websites on Linux environments.

• Utilise code versioning tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket.

• Optimise the performance of WordPress websites.

• Ensure compatibility of WordPress websites with different browsers and devices.

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies.

• Analyse website traffic and user behaviour using web analytics tools like Google

Analytics and Tag Manager.

• Stay on par with the latest UI/UX tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related fields, or equivalent experience.

• 1 to 2 years of development experience with WordPress.

• Expertise in developing custom WordPress plugins and themes.

• Experience working with a variety of WordPress plugins.

• Deep understanding of PHP development and PHP frameworks.

• Working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Working knowledge of front and backend development.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

• Familiarity with Linux and deploying and managing WordPress websites on Linux

environments.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in React JS.

• Expertise in the latest UI/UX tools and technologies.

• Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

• Working experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, ...etc.).
