Role Overview:

As a Wordpress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and services using the Wordpress framework. You will be working closely with our team of developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve our web applications and services using Wordpress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code that follows industry best practices.
• Implement custom backend solutions and integrations with third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues in development and production environments.
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into your work as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in developing web applications using Wordpress.
• Strong understanding of the Wordpress ecosystem.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience working with relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
