Wordpress Website Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites for our clients. Your primary focus will be on front-end and back-end development, theme customization, plugin development, and overall website optimization. Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing custom WordPress themes from scratch or utilizing pre-existing themes.
• Developing custom plugins and extending existing functionality using PHP and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborating with designers, content creators and project managers to ensure seamless website development and maintenance.
• Optimizing websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, including bugs, errors, and compatibility problems.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of websites through regular updates and security measures.
• Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance of websites to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software engineerig, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites and custom plugins.
• Proficient in HTML. ( Knowlegde of PHP will be prefered).
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding of database management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Time management is an important factor that will be considered in final interview

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Magento) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce and Shopify).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
