Title: Wordpress Developer Location: Stevenage Working: Hybrid – 2 days on site per week Type: Contract – Outside IR35 Duration: 6 months Rate: £200 – 300 p/d My client is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join their team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the companies WordPress websites. ** UK BASED APPLICANTS ONLY ** Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain WordPress websites Work closely with the design team to ensure that the websites meet the company's visual standards Collaborate with the content team to ensure that the websites are user-friendly and SEO-friendly Write clean, well-documented code and test it thoroughly Ensure that the websites are responsive and mobile-friendly Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, best practices and industry trends Requirements: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer Strong knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and custom post types Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code ** UK BASED APPLICANTS ONLY ** If you are a Wordpress Developer with a strong skill set and experience in working on complex projects, we would like to hear from you.
