Wordpress Developer

WordPress Developer- Northampton/Hybrid Working This is the perfect role for a WordPress/PHP developer who wants help create solutions from back to front-end that include a range of different integrations and plug-ins. Working within our diverse Creative team, you will help build the sites, pages and email campaigns that support recruitment marketing campaigns for a whole range of different clients, as well as developing our own company website: talent-works.com. It’s an opportunity to be part of a small, focused design and development team, while also working with a wider group of art directors, copywriters and motion graphics designers. You’ll have a chance to contribute ideas, as well as code. While we’re looking for a developer with experience, you don’t need to know everything from day one. Every project brings a different challenge. So what’s most important is that you can take the initiative, solve problems and work in a really collaborative way. Required experience Building custom WordPress themes & plugins An understanding of PHP, HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS preprocessors (we use Sass) An understanding of responsive development concepts Comfortable with the command line Git version control Experience building HTML email templates Desired but not essential Experience using JavaScript and jQuery Experience using Advanced Custom Fields Node/NPM Composer Adobe XD Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines For candidates who are invited to interview, we will expect to see a portfolio of work. This could be links to working projects, a Github profile, or a StackOverflow profile.
