Wordpress Developer

Job Title: WordPress Developer Location: Brighton (flexible and remote options available) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum Our client, a digital agency based in the South of England, is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects for a diverse range of clients. This role offers flexible and remote working options. Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications Collaborating with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions Writing efficient, reusable, and scalable code Troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise Participating in code reviews to ensure high code quality Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies Mentoring junior developers as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field At least 3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer Strong proficiency in WordPress development and customisation, including custom themes and plugins Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery Familiarity with PHP and MySQL Knowledge of front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Gulp, Webpack) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills If you are a motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about creating innovative solutions, then we want to hear from you.
