WordPress Developer- Hybrid

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join a friendly team at a creative digital agency in the centre of Brighton. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining websites for clients using WordPress CMS. Responsibilities: Developing WordPress websites for clients from scratch, ensuring the design is pixel-perfect and meets the client's requirements. Customising existing WordPress themes and plugins to fit client specifications. Maintaining and updating existing WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure and up to date with the latest versions of WordPress, themes and plugins. Troubleshooting any WordPress-related issues that arise on client's websites. Collaborating with designers, developers and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. Providing technical advice and support to clients and colleagues as required. Contributing to the development and implementation of best practices for WordPress development at the agency.Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as a WordPress Developer, building from scratch. Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes and plugins. Experience with HTML, CSS, and PHP. Experience with WordPress security and performance optimization. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A portfolio of WordPress projects is desirable.This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in the office. The salary for this role is between £35,000-£40,000, depending on experience.
