Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on client requirements.
• Implement custom functionality and features in WordPress using PHP, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Perform website optimization and improve website performance by implementing best practices for SEO, page speed, and other technical aspects.
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, and other team members to ensure website design and functionality align with client goals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients, including fixing bugs and resolving technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, security best practices, and industry trends to ensure websites are secure and perform optimally.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with WordPress and related technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with WordPress theme and plugin development, including creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of SEO and optimization techniques to improve website speed and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
