Summary:

As a Web Developer with WordPress expertise, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites. Your proficiency in WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations will enable you to deliver high-quality, visually appealing, and functional web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to create visually engaging and user-friendly websites.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies to implement designs and ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility.
• Customize WordPress functionality using PHP, ensuring seamless integration of features and smooth website performance.
• Optimize WordPress websites for speed, scalability, and overall performance to enhance user experiences.
• Implement security best practices and perform routine maintenance to ensure WordPress websites are secure and up-to-date.
• Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and compatibility problems to maintain the functionality of WordPress websites.
• Assist with content migration and management within the WordPress CMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer, with a strong focus on WordPress development.
• Proficiency in WordPress themes, templates, and plugin customization.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with responsive design.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL for back-end customization in WordPress.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with code collaboration and review tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality code.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and project updates.
